Job offer: Junior Accountant

Job Summary
On behalf of our esteemed client, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant particularly from manufacturing/ production sector to manage daily accounting tasks and focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with manufacturing standards

Support the budgeting process by gathering data and analyzing variances between budgeted and actual manufacturing costs

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently to optimize cash flow and maintain supplier relationships

Collaborate closely with production teams to gather cost data and support cost accounting functions

Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for management review

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA Part I/Foundation stage or ACCA Level 2 qualification

Atleast 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in manufacturingor production environment

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) andMicrosoft Excel

Knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws. Understanding of Kenyan tax laws is anadvantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Tanzanian National based in Dar es Salaam preferably with a passport or atemporary East African Passport
