Port Operations

The Port Operations is responsible for the smooth operations of the port and cargo operations. He/She will be responsible with regulatory authorities, port operations and shipping lines.

Tasks

•      To arrange for customs clearance in respect of outgoing vessels and the foreign going vessel;

•      To prepare and administers berth activity records, yard and stowage

•      Analyze expenditure and submit reports to management

•      Brief port supervisors on vessel loading and discharge standard operating procedures

•      Develop a framework and process to manage business risk in chartering operations

•      Develop processes for implementing manpower planning strategy

•      Develop vessel loading and discharge plans

•      Encourage innovation and efficiency improvements to ensure processes are productive

•      Implement manpower planning processes

•      Monitor and review manpower planning processes

•      Monitor vessel operations and productivity

•      Oversee compliance with policies, procedures and regulations

•      To perform any other related duties as may be assigned time to time by Supervisor.

Desired Candidate

•      5 Years Qualification: Clearing and forwarding, Ship line and port Management, Transport and Logistics Management and any other related fields

•      Bachelor Degree in Freight clearing and Forwarding and Ports Management /Degree in Maritime Transport and Logistics or Bachelor Degree in Shipping and Ports Operations Management or
