Job vacancy Field test engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS.

·         We are looking to recruit a Field Test Engineer (FTE) with at least 1 year of testing experience in phone software testing, capable of testing smartphones and promoting team improvement. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent or work experience equivalent and be familiar with local Telecommunications operators in Tanzania, as well as understand communication-related knowledge points such as 5G/4G/3G/2G, VoIP etc.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

·         Strong understanding of network testing principles and methodologies.

·         Proficiency in field testing procedures and equipment.

·         In-depth knowledge of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) concepts and technologies.

·         Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing general network performance issues

·         Familiarity with industry-standard mobile tools.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, development, etc.).

·         Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. .

·         Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a network testing or product testing role.

·         Provide support in debugging resolving testing related issues at module vendors in areas including test software, fixtures and processes during prototype builds and mass productions.

·         Handle all handsets customization as required by Government and Telecommunications operators.

·         Test software releases during product development and provide reports to LG R&D and HQ as required and maintaining test specifications and approve the software for mass production with 0% defect.

·         Familiarize oneself with local operators in Tanzania and understand communication-related knowledge points such as 5G/4G/3G/2G. etc

Qualifications:

·         The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent or work experience equivalent.

·         At least 1 year of testing experience in phone software, able to read and recognize wrong places in English.

·         Knowledgeable in SW testing work processes and SW development processes.

·         Understand testing theories, testing methods, and current testing tools, capable of independently designing testing cases and editing testing reports.

·         Excellent communication skills, teamwork, able to work under pressure and good faith degree.

·         Capable of judgment for the problem and prioritize quality.
