Job vacancy Cashier

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.

Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities

·         Manage transactions with customers using cash registers

·         Collect and record payments in cash or credit

·         Issue receipts, refunds, change

·         Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant payment information

·         Communicate well with customer while receiving cash or handling their matter

·         Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

·         Preparation of daily cash report

·         Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

·         Maintaining EFD machine and issuance of Daily and monthly Z-reports

·         Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

Requirements: 

·         Basic knowledge of accounting

·         2+ years’ Work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role

·         Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as EFD

·         Strong communication and time management skills

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Customer satisfaction-oriented 

Working Experience

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting field 

Educational Qualification

·         Bachelor degree in accounting, banking and finance or any other related
