TANZANIA ROYAL TOUR CO LTD - Moshi

The Marangu route is also referred to as the "Coca-Cola" route, as it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope and direct path. It is the oldest and the most well established route on the Kilimanjaro.


DAY 1 - Moshi / Arusha – Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut

We depart Moshi for Marangu Gate for the necessary formalities before beginning our trek.


DAY 2 - Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut

Distance: 12 km/7 miles

Hiking Time: 6-8 hours

Habitat: Heath

We start the day continuing through the forest until the trail opens into high moorland.



DAY 3 - Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut

Distance: 10 km/6 miles

Hiking Time: 6-8 hours

Habitat: Alpine Desert

We climb gradually, then cross the lunar desert of the “Saddle” between Mawenzi and Kibo.



DAY 4 -Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut

On our last day, we have a long trek mostly downhill through the tropical rainforest.

DAY 01 Arusha – Lake Manyara

On this day you leave Arusha town; the base town for safaris in the northern Tanzania and along the Arusha – Dodoma highway a scenic drive towards the Lake Manyara National Park.


DAY 02 Manyara/Karatu – Serengeti

From Manyara (Mto wa mbu) we depart early after breakfast and head across the Great Rift Valley’s floor, up the escarpment and traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation area


DAY 03 Full day Serengeti (Seronera Area)GameDrive

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the park. The area around Lobo and the Grumeti River has good resident game throughout the year.


DAY 04 Serengeti (Central) – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende Area)

After breakfast, we head towards the far northern reach of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Wagakuria. We will do a game drive en-route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area.


DAY 05 Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) - Serengeti (Central)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Wagakuria area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in this area of the park, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however, from Mid-July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise.


DAY 06 Serengeti (Central) – Ngorongoro

Proceed with morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the midafternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language.


DAY 07 Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater with lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than 7 hours.

Millions of years ago, a volcano the size of Mount Kilimanjaro rose from the highlands of northern Tanzania.

Starting off with Manyara National Park where you will witness the tree climbing lions, astonishing variety of birds, and wallowing hippos you will proceed to Tarangire which is known for it's Savannah plains, the immense herds of elephants amounting to 300 and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowding the shrinking lagoons of river Tara marks the start of your four days safari expedition.



DAY 1 -Arusha/Moshi - Lake Manyara National Park ( Game Drive )

You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes approximately two hours, but we'll pass through the market town of Mto Wa Mbu along the way.




DAY 2 - Lake Manyara – Tarangire N.Park ( GAME DRIVE) – Ngorongoro

After breakfast you will depart for Tarangire National Park. You will arrive at the gate around 10:00a.m After arriving at the park you will proceed on a Game drive.


DAY 3 - Serengeti National Park ( Game drive )
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.


DAY 4 - Serengeti N.Park ( Game Drive ) - Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will do a game drive in Serengeti National Park With your lunch box following the animal Migration at the Northern Serengeti where


DAY 5 - Ngorongoro Crater ( Game Drive ) - Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater with lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than six hours. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world
