DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA (FULL DAY GAME DRIVE)
- BACK TO ARUSHA
In the early morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants but it is also the home for a few hundred other species of birds; it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Next to a great variety of birds, the “Big Game” can also be seen. With a bit of lucky you might see elephants in the wooded regions and with even more fortune the tree-climbing lions. Indeed, it was thought for a long time that the Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shootsIn the late afternoon
You will later on in the afternoon drive out of the park and your guide will take you Arusha/Moshi for overnight

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara (or Tarangire National Park)
eave Arusha in the morning with a lunch box and drive to Lake Manyara National Park one and a half hours away. We will check in at the Jambo Campsite and offload the camping gear then head straight to the park for game drives all day. Late afternoon we return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast then drive to Serengeti National park crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will be doing game drives on the way and after entering Serengeti via Naabi Hill gate you will continue with game drives the whole day. Lunch box will be served on this day as well. Later in the afternoon you will settle at the Seronera Campsite for freshly prepared dinner and then stay overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast at the Campsite you will spend the morning at Serengeti National park all morning and in the afternoon after lunch at a picnic site, we drive back via Naabi hill Gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to stay overnight at Simba Campsite at the Crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Town.
Very early breakfast at Simba campsite then we descend early to the Ngorongoro Crater’s floor for some 6 hours of Game drives in the Crater floor. After lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site we ascend up the Crater rim and drive back to Arusha town where the safari ends in the late afternoon.

DAY 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
The drive from Moshi to the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park Gate takes about 50 minutes. The journey passes through the village of Machame which is located on the lower slopes of the mountain.Distance covered: 10.6km

DAY 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
After breakfast, we leave the glades of the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, crossing the little valley walking along a steep rocky ridge,. Distance Covered: 5.4km

DAY 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo.Distance Covered: 10.8km
Time to be used: 8 - 10 hrs

DAY 4 : Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Then, we leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. We continue up to the Barafu Hut.Distance Covered: 8.5 km

DAY 5: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp
Very early in the morning (midnight to 2am), we continue our way to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers .At Uhuru Peak, you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. Distance Covered: 16.4km
Time to be used: 7-8 hours ascent - 4-6 hours descent

DAY 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate - Back to Moshi
The pace quickens as you continue your triumphant way back down across alpine meadow and past Mandara Hut through the rainforest to Marangu Gate back to Moshi/Arusha.
