SERENGETI SNIPERS EXPEDITION - Tanzania safari - Arusha

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA (FULL DAY GAME DRIVE)
- BACK TO ARUSHA
In the early morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants but it is also the home for a few hundred other species of birds; it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Next to a great variety of birds, the “Big Game” can also be seen. With a bit of lucky you might see elephants in the wooded regions and with even more fortune the tree-climbing lions. Indeed, it was thought for a long time that the Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shootsIn the late afternoon
You will later on in the afternoon drive out of the park and your guide will take you Arusha/Moshi for overnight

1DAY ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Depart early from Arusha town at around 07.30 – 08.00 Hrs you will drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. DAY 2: SERENGETI (MORNING GAME-DRIVE) TO NGORONGORO
Early morning 6 am weak up and after a hot cup of coffee or tea, leave the camp for morning game viewing to the heart of Serengeti national park while enjoying the Morning beautiful sun rises though it’s going To be a bit chill in the morning don’t forget your warm clothes, get on with the game drive till on the mid-day drive back to camp for full breakfast and Lunch which means a Branch
Then later leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro Conservation area while you are having game drive en route towards Ngorongoro campsite dinner and overnight(For Lodge accommodation Send a special Request)

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER FULL DAY TOUR- BACK TO ARUSHA.
Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive in Ngorongoro we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life.
You will later on in the afternoon drive up the Crater rim and drive out of the park .we Late afternoon drive to back to Arusha

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara (or Tarangire National Park)
Leave Arusha in the morning with a lunch box and drive to Lake Manyara National Park one and a half hours away. We will check in at the Jambo Campsite and offload the camping gear then head straight to the park for game drives all day. Late afternoon we return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast then drive to Serengeti National park crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will be doing game drives on the way and after entering Serengeti via Naabi Hill gate you will continue with game drives the whole day. Lunch box will be served on this day as well. Later in the afternoon you will settle at the Seronera Campsite for freshly prepared dinner and then stay overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast at the Campsite you will spend the morning at Serengeti National park all morning and in the afternoon after lunch at a picnic site, we drive back via Naabi hill Gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to stay overnight at Simba Campsite at the Crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Town.
Very early breakfast at Simba campsite then we descend early to the Ngorongoro Crater’s floor for some 6 hours of Game drives in the Crater floor. After lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site we ascend up the Crater rim and drive back to Arusha town where the safari ends in the late afternoon.
