Travis Expeditions - Arusha, Tanzania

We did the 8 days Lemosho route at Mt Kilimanjaro. After booking at Viator I was quickly contacted from AFRICAN TREK & TRAVEL to organize the trip. Airport pickup and hotel accomodation were both included and worked very well. I also got a free city tour in Moshi town. We also checked all my equioment the day before the departure and the hints received were helpful (taking a warmer trouser with me which I rented then at the agency) The trekking experience itself is wonderful as the nationalpark is very large and we had very few other tourists around. Everyone in the team always made everything possible to make us feel comfortable: Walking speed was always at our preference....from slow to fast...the meals prepared were restaurant quality....something I did not expect on a trekking trip...but makes life more comfortable. I would recommend to take one of the longer tours offered as this makes the trip much more relaxed and you will have better aclimatization. The summit approach was much easier as I had expected due to the good preparation during the tour and not having to carry heavy gear. I can therefore recommend both fully the tour itself as well as booking with African Trek & Travel
