In 2003 we started our first production encounter starting with only 10 industrial sewing machines; we started a uniform making small scale industry at Tabata light industrial area, in a building we constructed in our small plot. [The area specially designated by the government for small scale industries].
In 2006 we acquired another plot, much bigger in size where we are currently located and where we have setup more production activities ranging from uniforms, by now we have the capacity of more than 120 machineries along with supporting services such as Fabric printing section [promotional] and embroidery other departments include Tents and Tarpaulins and PPE section all together the company employs direct [in various basis] more than 150 people.
In 2010 OpenSanit in different occasions have been launched its corporation Multinational Companies including being company distributors of those companies such as Beier Safety Footwear, MSA both in South Africa, SACLA and other companies in India and China.
With a special note, currently the company has officially started its new venture under its subsidiary company of Pamoja Industries Limited, that deals with production of Plastic bags, Garbage bags, Tubings, Sheetings, PVC Pipes, Conduits and Water Pipes through which it has become one of the edge advantage for the company and nation at large by doing recycling process of all the plastic materials inview of protecting and preserving the environment.
For the two years in a row,our company has achieved being in THE TOP 100 MID SIZED COMPANIES in Tanzania under the conducted survey from KPMG and The NATION (2011 and 2012). Towards 2013 and time ahead of us we will continue with our expansion plans that bases on the fulfillment of our Vision and Mission statement towards creating more employment chances and generally contribute to the company's and national growth.
